I need serious help.
-
I’ve had the blog
sittingunderthefamilytree.wordpress.commoved to:
sittingunderthefamilytree.com
more than a year ago and I keep trying to move my community of followers from the old one to the new one. No luck. I’ve asked before and everything I try doesn’t work.
Well now I really want to get serious about my blog and I would really like to have my followers and their icons on my new site.
Can you please help?

Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

Hi there. I need to transfer my subscribers, followers too. I have emailed support but yet nothing. I can’t write any posts until this is resolved as no one will see them. Many thanks
-
Thanks, maybe I’m too impatient. I have lost my website for almost a week now with the transfer, settings that have been removed/altered that I now have to go back and change so very frustrating. All my traffic seems to have dropped off overnight and I can’t see why.
-
I’m so sorry that happened to you. Please let’s stop posting here because we are moving the timestamp forward every time we do that and it will take longer for cchidlow to get Staff help.

Help. I can’t figure out how to post to my class blog. I was given access to it but am only being directed to make my own blog. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help.

@cynthiarose2014
Please do NOT hijack threads. It’s disrespectful. Your posting here posting here moved the timestamp forward and it will now take longer for cchidlow to get Staff help. Please use this link to create you own thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 -
@cynthiarose2014 please post a new thread here in the forums if you still need assistance.
@liblob42 it looks like you’ve already received assistance via email, so please reply to my colleague there.
@cchidlow: I have transferred your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers as requested.
Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.
You might think about setting up a Site Redirect for your WordPress.com site at sittingunderthefamilytree.wordpress.com to send your site visitors to your new domain. Otherwise, people will still be able to subscribe on your old site.

Thank you for your help. I can now see that I have 19 followers. However I cannot see who they are, nor can I see their icons. Can you tell me how to fix that?
Carol Chidlow -
You should be able to view your followers in your site stats, just as you did at WordPress.com.
Try this link:

Thank you so much for your help. I can go to my blog stats and see the subscribers, but that’s not what I am asking.
Previously on my blog there were little icons with pictures of the people following my blog. Do you know how to get them to show on the sidebar of my blog? Thanks again.

@cchidlow That’s currently functionality available just on WordPress.com. While I don’t have a handy suggestion right off hand, you can try searching for a plugin on the WordPress.org repository: http://wordpress.org/plugins
