I need some explanation about the terms of renewal of my non domain upgrade

Hi! I’m going to purchase more Space for my WordPress blog, in order to increase my storage. I just read that before the expiration, you’ll notify me 3 emails, one 90 days, the second 60 days and the last 30 days prior the automatic renewal of my non doman upgrade. my question is: does this notify concerns a different renewal of a domain space you want me to buy? or is it the automatic renewal of my non-domain upgrade? thanks for your explanation. bye, xmery. :-)

You should be notified of Any upgrade before it renews – however DON’T TRUST WORDPRESS.COM TO SEND YOU A NOTICE!!!!!
There have been several times where the notice of renewal did not work and people had the upgrades fail to renew – some were related to domain registration and the blog owner was stiffed with a penalty to get their domain name back – I have observed issues over several years with notices not being sent
So you have been warned – mark your calendar

however, my blog has now a non- domain contract….for the moment I don’t need one. So I wanted to make sure that notice of 3 emails I will receive don’t concerne a new contract of a domain registration, before expiration.
(hope I’m quite clear, English is not my language :-) ) -
Any renewal email will ONLY be for renewal – I have never gotten an email from WordPress.COM trying to sell me any upgrade – the email for a renewal is only for the renewal (Domain Mapping for my site is an example – the email just deals with the renewal) – the “in your face” selling is limited to your Dashboard
