I need some Header help please

I am new to this whole thing however I have tried to figure this out. I am using the Chaotic Soul theme and my header is being cut off on the top. Do I need to change the margins or something, and if so how do I do that? Also the words are automatically going to lowercase. If anyone could help that would be great. Thank you.

You need to upload a header the right size; if it’s bigger, WP will automatically crop it to the correct aspect ratio. If it’s too small, it’ll get stretched.
And as for the lowercase, do you mean in the titles? That’s how the theme works, I believe. Different themes handle it differently.

Definitely crop and size your image to the exact dimensions before uploading it.
It appears like you have the paid CSS upgrade, is that correct? If so, you can change the title text by adding ” text-transform: none; ” to the ” h1 ” section in your CSS.
See this W3C schools page for the legal declarations for text-transform: http://www.w3schools.com/Css/pr_text_text-transform.asp .
Using “none” as I suggest above will allow you to type in exactly what you want as you want it.
Also, it appears as if you have pasted the entire CSS into the edit window. Unless you are going to be making massive changes, I would suggest selecting “add to existing… ” and then putting in only the div’s and selectors that you are changing, and ONLY the declarations being changed. It makes it far easier to keep track of what you have changed in the future.
