I need some help recovering an old account.

  Hi!

  I need some help recovering my old account. Unfortunately, I’ve forgotten both the e-mail, blog URL and password associated with it.

  The username in question is pencru.

  If you can give me any ideas as to the e-mail I associated with that account, it would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi.

  I attempted using that form. However, I also do not recall the blog URL I created using that account. Barring access from my e-mail, I’m also unable to secure my confirmation e-mail. I also haven’t made any transactions using the account.

  Without having that info, I’m not sure how hard it will be to recover the account. I’ve tagged this thread for a WordPress.com employee to take a look to see if there is anything else they can help with.

  Thanks for that. I appreciate it. I’ve come across threads where they were given a snippet of the e-mail associated with the account, but the requesting parties did remember their blog URLs. I was hoping I could receive information like that as well.

  There have been instances where my handle (pencru) belonged to someone else on other sites, so it’s possible that I may be mistaken with the account. If the e-mail associated isn’t mine, then I’ll just have to respectfully leave it be and use a different handle for my profile, at least on WordPress.

  That’s no longer done. There is only one means of account recovery https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  Oh. I guess it’s safe to assume I’ve lost any way of using my handle on WordPress anymore?

  If you don’t have access to the email address you used to create the account, never made a purchase and don’t have the account key used to validate the account when it was created, there is no way to recover the account.

  That’s a shame :( looks like I’ll have to skip out on WordPress for now until I find some way to be able to use my primary handle. Thank you for the quick responses!
