I need submit guest post page for my wordpress blog

    Hi All,

    I want to create page like submit guest post next to about us. I know how to create page but my query is do wordpress have ready made code for guest post page? Like where visitor can submit guest post with attachment plus whoever wants to paste html that thing he or she can paste at guest post page. That means attachment feature & html feature for visitors is it possible?

    Hope you got what I mean. ( I want visitors to submit there guest post on my blog so I want to collect guest post via guest post page)

    Hello there,

    I believe I understand what you are looking to do. Although WordPress.com may not provide the exact thing you are hoping to achieve, there are a few alternatives that may work.

    You can certainly add contributors to your page if you would like guests to be able to post. Here is a helpful link to explain how to do so: https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/. Please keep in mind the different levels of authority each role gives a user. Here is a link to explain the difference: https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/. It sounds like you may want contributors for your page? This allows people to create posts, but you still have the authority to publish them or not.

    Or you may want to look into using Testimonials instead, as a way to allow your guests to submit a “post”. Here is a link to further explain how you can go about setting this up: https://en.support.wordpress.com/testimonials/

    Hi there gaingainandgain,

    I think this might be possible by creating a contact form plugin as part of your guest page. For example, the plug-in Caldera supports html and file attachments, so your guests would be able to send you these items through the contact form. You could then save and publish these guest submissions.

    For the plug-in, you would need a business plan.
