  I am new on WP. Just set up my blog and trying to initiate the first post. However, I have difficulties retrieving the post for editing whether from the Posts page of Blog page. I cant edit the post but I can view it.

  I still have it in my blog page draft file, yet I cannot open it for edit but can preview it.
  Same thing happened to the version of the post I earlier published on my Posts page…Couldn’t edit the contact so I had to delete it and created a fresh post in the blog page and still experience same issue, while the post is still in the draft file

  Hello again, thanks for providing those links.

  Could you please try logging out of WordPress.com, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies (which will also log you out of any other site you are logged in on) and then logging back in. Make sure that javascript and 3rd party cookies are allowed

  Alternatively log in on a private browsing window and then try opening the post to edit it. If you are still unable to edit it, let us know exactly what happens when you try. Also, which OS and browser and versions of those you are using.

  If you are still unable to edit the post, we’ll mark this thread for Staff assistance as only they can see draft posts.

  Hi there

  I really appreciate the support.

  I have done all the steps recommended I still continue to experience the error
  Precisely on inability to Edit any post whether in the Post Page or Blog Post Page in the homepage..

  I account access a post in either of the pages whether in published or draft state.

  That is the URL for the new post published in the Blog Post…I can view but cannt Edit.

  I will certainly need the support from the ASSISTANT TEAM.

  First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

  If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

  If it is, please do these two things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

  2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
