I need the Arecords for my wordpress domain

    Hello, I had bought my domain with another provider before I started a wordpress website. I now wanted to use that domain, however, they said there is a 60 day restriction on it, but they could connect it if they have the A records of the website. They told me I need to ask WordPress for that.

    Hi there,

    It is possible to connect an outside domain using A Record or Name Server settings (either method will work) but on this end you will first need to add one of our upgrade plans since it’s not possible to assign a custom address to free sites, they can only use the “wordpress.com” address. To get you off the ground you can choose our lowest cost plan, which will include the option to connect a custom domain, turn off the ads we show on free sites to cover our costs, as well as add the option for private email support:

    Once you have upgraded on this end you will be all set, and we can share the domain settings you will need to add with your current provider. Also worth noting that you have the option to transfer after 60 days, and if you choose the yearly option of the personal plan, it will include a free domain transfer as well as a bonus year of free registration for added savings.
