Hi there,
What is the URL of the site you are referring to?
I do not see any sites connected to the account you are contacting us from. Is it a WordPress.com hosted site?
-
Hi:
Yes, it is the WordPress.com hosted site.
URL:
easytextai.wordpress.com

I am not certain I understand what the end goal is here for easytext.ai.
Are you trying to map it to WordPress.com? If so, that Jetpack plan is not needed at all. Jetpack is built in to WordPress.com.
If this is the case, then you need to talk to 101 domain and ask them to update the name servers to be the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMOr share these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
-
On the previous call with WordPress support by phone.
I gave credentials for the 101 domain account and the technician said he will fix everything related to the account.
Is that any number that I can use to follow up on the previous case?

@manager139 we are not in a call center and we don’t ask for account credentials. If the person you spoke to said they were us, took your money, and did not fix your problem, I’d recommend contacing your registrar for help securing your account there and pointing your domain to our name servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comIf you gave them this login information too, or any other login credentials, please secure those too.
Here are our support options:
-
Please let me know where I can send a copy of the conversation and emails that are related to the time when that issue was fixed by WP support team.
The emails that I used to follow about the case was WordPress.com Support <help@wordpress.com>
Is this not wordpress?

At one time, your domain’s name servers were set to
ns1.24x7wpsupport.comThat’s not us, it’s a scam company that claims to provide official WordPress support, but neither we (WordPress.com) nor WordPress.org have any affiliation with them.
They do provide phone support, but neither we (WordPress.com) nor WordPress.org do.
Additionally, we have absolutely no history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.
It sounds like you were actually communicating with this scam company, not us.
Would you please describe exactly what you’d like to do with the domain? We’ll help you get back on track once we know what you need.
-
Ok so we have an issue reported on wordpress.com
URL:
easytextai.wordpress.com
see DNS configuration required need to be FIX message. If you have access to that domain and configuration you can see the error msg that we are getting regarding to our domain name.
-
I don’t see any error messages, https://www.easytext.ai/ is loading a WordPress.org site hosted under
ns1.24x7wpsupport.comwhich is that scam company. Here’s a screenshot of what I see at that domain: https://cld.wthms.co/HhPDXf
The domain is mapped to a WordPress.com blog
easytextai.wordpress.combut as the domain’s name servers are not directed to us, so it will not bring up the WordPress.com blog.Do you want to keep the site self-hosted with the scam company, or do you want to direct the domain to the
easytextai.wordpress.comWordPress.com site? -
I want to direct the domain to the real wordpress.com company.
But How?
I do need to keep the ssl certificate.
Do I need to do something on my end?
Do I need to pay something else to fix this?

I want to direct the domain to the real wordpress.com company.
But How?
Ok, the domain already has a domain mapping upgrade, so all you need to do is change your domain’s name servers to:
ns1.wordpress.com ns2.wordpress.com ns3.wordpress.comThis is per https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
Now, you’ll do that through your domain’s registrar, so you’ll need to consult their documentation for specifics on how to change your domain’s name servers.
Your domain appears to be registered with a company called 101domain so if it’s indeed them and not one of their resellers, you’ll follow this documentation: https://help.101domain.com/domain-management/name-servers-dns/modifying-name-servers-and-records/changing-name-servers
I do need to keep the ssl certificate.
We’ll provide you with a free SSL certificate: https://en.support.wordpress.com/https-ssl/#how-do-i-install-an-ssl-certificate-on-my-wordpress-com-site
Do I need to do something on my end?
Yes, you’ll need to change your name servers as detailed above.
Do I need to pay something else to fix this?
You don’t need to pay us anything to do any of this.
-
OK I changed the Current Name Servers
1
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
2
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
3
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMI guess I need to wait to see the changes.

Yes, when a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, your domain may go to its old location, and you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors.”
If you still have trouble viewing the site after 24 hours have passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache: http://www.refreshyourcache.com/
If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

Hi:
Ok, so the Name Servers had been changed.
It shows the new names and I still see the error msg of DNS configuration required and a fix option.
I will like the team to take a look and tell me what else needs to be done on my end?

Hi:
I was able to remove that IP or A record.
Please review it at your end. Please review the SSL installed as well.

I am getting the following error
Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for http://www.easytext.ai. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.wordpress.com, wordpress.com
Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAINNeindex Manager

Ok, you’ve got the name servers pointed to us: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/easytext.ai
And the A record is correct too: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/easytext.ai
And, your site is now properly working here with a valid SSL certificate (that usually take a few minutes to provision after the domain is properly configured). Here’s a screenshot of what I see: https://cld.wthms.co/CrSMEM
-
I am getting the following error
Oops! That page can’t be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?
