I need the name servers of this address UN-linked from WordPress, Please :)

    A while ago I had this domain (hidden from public view) attached to a managed WordPress site through my host provider – 1&1, now Ionos.

    At some point I decided to cancel that service with them, but no one unlinked the name servers from WordPress when they turned off the service. And no one mentioned it to me and told me to make sure to do it.

    I have tried on the end with my Host to unlink my name servers from WordPress, but we can’t, and since the managed site has been gone for years now, I have no way to access it and switch it back to Ionos.

    I want to use the domain, but I can’t at this point in time, because it is still linked into your system somehow.

    Is there any way you can go in and unlink it from your system and set it’s name servers back to Ionos’s servers?

    They have tried to unlink it on their end 4 times washout success now, so I am reaching out to you to see if you can help.

    Ah ok, that domain is registered with IONOS, not us, so the name servers can be changed through them: https://www.ionos.com/help/domains/using-your-own-name-servers/using-your-own-name-servers-for-a-domain/

    :( Apparently they can’t. I have had them try to change it several times now, and they have been unable to do anything. My site is still connected to WordPress according to them, and the last Ionos guy said I had to disconnect it from with in my WordPress Dashboard… but this site doesn’t show up in my dashboard, and the dashboard that was associated with it, went away when I stopped paying for the managed site.

    Any other ideas?

    This is the message I have in my IONOS Dashboard under the name server for my Mind of Chaos… Domain:

    “Your domain is currently connected to application. This connection can not be reset. If you no longer want to use the domain with the application, you must disconnect the domain from the application in the settings.”

    I think it will help if I clarify that we are a totally separate company from IONOS and we do not have any ability to control your domain on this end.
