I need to cancel connecting my domain to a site I was part of on wordpress.com

    Hello,

    I was an administrator of issfus.wordpress.com. This week, I purchased a domain, http://www.nevinkohler.com, and started the process of connecting that domain to my wordpress.com account, but it looks like it is connecting to issfus.wordpress.com. I thought I was connecting it just to my own wordpress.com account.

    One thing I did was to ‘leave the blog’, so I’m no longer an admin of issfus.wordpress.com. But the owner is still getting emails about how there is one more step to take, which is to set the name servers to connect to WordPress.com.

    What I’d like to take place is a ‘cancellation’ of the connection request to add my domain to issfus.wordpress.com. Can you help with this? Thank you,

    Hi there, @nevin7!

    The site owner here, a different WordPress.com account from the one you are contacting us as today, must be the one to remove the Domain Connection subscription for the domain nevinkohler.com.

    They can do so here:

    https://wordpress.com/me/purchases → nevinkohler.com → Remove subscription

    Right now, the Domain Connection for nevinkohler.com is added to the site http://issf-us.org. A Domain Connection subscription is used to connect a domain registered elsewhere to a WordPress.com account.

    If you elaborate a bit more on what you are trying to do this domain, I would be happy to provide some recommendations. Are you hoping to create a new WordPress.com site on the domain nevinkohler.com?
