I need to cancel my site

    I misunderstood the use of WordPress, and got involved only to leave a complimentary comment on a blog that I started following recently. I have no use for a site, which I discovered will cost extra money. Again, all I wanted to do was comment on something wonderful that I subscribe to. Please advise regarding cancelling what I mistakenly began here. Thank you.

    Correct account: Yes

    Thanks for getting in touch. Taking a look now, I can see that your WordPress.com account has already been deleted, so you should be all set!

    Just to clarify, while it’s true that you can purchase paid plans and upgrades for your WordPress.com site, that doesn’t happen automatically – when you signed up for your account, that was absolutely free, and so was your site.

    In this case, there’s nothing more to cancel, and you won’t be charged. But, if you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
