I need to cancel my space upgrade and get a refund

I am going in circles trying to cancel my upgrade that was automatically renewed (I didn’t realize I had to manually disable the auto-renew feature) and get a refund but all I get from the support page is redirection back to the Upgrades tab where a “cancel and refund” button supposedly exists. I do not see that button and need to cancel the upgrade before the 30 days is up. Help!

You can request a refund from your dashboard. http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/#refunds as that’s not working for you please contact Staff Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

Hi Timethief, I’m looking to cancel the current VideoPress automatic renewal I was given on 21st July 2011 within the 30 day period to get a refund too – I’ve followed the links you’ve provided above here, but don’t seem to have a facility to contact the support team (says they’re away until the 15th? Am not able to request refund directly from my Dashboard, either. Please help!

Here’s the email address support@wordpress.com – be sure to give them all the information.
I will also flag this for staff attention as they do check the forums even when the contact form is closed.
