I need to cancel my word press domain name

My domain is: spursyspurs.net
I want to cancel this domain, I believe it already renewed automatically even though I did not think it would renew until September 8th, which is one year since I made it. I need to cancel my domain name and get my money back, because I do not need it for another year.

The domain belongs to a different WordPress.com account here, not the one you’re currently logged in under.
You’ll need to log in under the correct account and cancel/refund it from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

I am very confused now. I got an email last week that was sent to my address at (email visible only to moderators and staff) saying that my domain spursyspurs.net had auto renewed. Then I tried to log in and it said that email did not exist.
I made one yesterday with that email just so I could post in this forum.
Basically I am confused as to why I got an email to my (email visible only to moderators and staff) account, yet I could not login with that email.
If there is a way you could tell me which email is linked to the spursyspurs.net domain, or the username that was used to create that domain, I think that would be helpful.
Again, I created this seperate account I am using now just to post this to the forum.

Is it possible that you set up an email redirect on the original address that you used to create that account with?
