I need to change my blog name back to what it used to be.

  Yesterday I changed my blog name from tenyearsnow.wordpress.com to roadrobot.wordpress.com, but I regret this change and want to change it back. However, when I try to do this through the Blog/Site Address Change form I get the error “Sorry, that site already exists!”. Although, you can see when you visit tenyearsnow.wordpress.com, that it’s been deleted. Help! How do I change it back?

  You don’t – gone is gone forever – deleted names are never recycled even to the original owner – that is why we always recommend you don’t delete a blog name but transfer the content to a new site and leave the old site alive – so when you change your mind the site is waiting for you – also you should have been warned in the change process that the old name would be gone forever
