I need to change my currency to USD

  For some reason, WordPress.com things I’m in Russia (I’m not, nor am I using a VPN) and wants to charge me in ₽. I can’t figure out how to change my currency to USD so that I can actually pay for my account.

  The currency on your account is set to USD. Where exactly are you prompted to use a different one? A screenshot would be great. You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/), or follow the instructions described here:
