I need to change my domain name

    I need to change my current domain name as I need to delete the blog I have made. I want to use the current domain name for a new blog (related to university work), therefore before I delete it I have to change the domain name so I can reuse it, or else if I delete it with its current name I can’t use it again. Help?

    Hi there,

    If you delete your WordPress.com address, it is gone. Neither you, nor anyone else will be able to use it again.

    What we can do is to empty your site of all content, and then you can start with an empty site, but still at the same address.

    Note that this cannot be reversed – any content currently on your site will be gone forever, but the address will still belong to you. If you want me to do this, please confirm, and also provide the URL of the site you want emptied.
