I need to change my domain name to a different one & retain uploaded info

  I would like to change my current domain name to a different domain name but keep uploaded material

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I accidentally input the string of words in the wrong order for my domain name and merrily went on to upload material & build my site before noticing. It should be Cookbrownlaborandemploymentlawfirm instead of the “employment labor” string I currently have. Am I able to simply switch to the correct domain name and retain the information?

  Yes you can change a name and keep the info, there are a couple of ways to do that, bit to busy to find the links – sorry

  HOWEVER – while you are waiting, some advice you did not ask for, rethink the name you want to use, I could never get a URL in that long to work – you could not get the right URL in and I suspect you work at the firm maybe even a Pardner or better.

  That long a string belongs in the title of your site not in the URL – see if you can shorten the URL before you change it, what you want to use will go all the way across a business card or more –

  Shorter is better for URL’s
