I need to change my email address and the site won't allow it

  I want to change the email address associated with this blog from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff) but I can’t do that directly through the normal channel.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I was told that a wordpress rep needs to make this change on my behalf.

  I have a problem similar to this, I did change my e-mail, but now the link of my author tag to the gravatar profile doesn’t work. It just stays on my wordpress page…

  Hi @coachzo, the problem is that you already have an account for the second email address.

  Here’s what I’d do:

  – Log out
  – Log into the old account (the one with the address you want)
  – Change the email to something else that is accessible. Many email providers support aliases, so something like (email visible only to moderators and staff) would likely work
  – Confirm the email address change
  – Log out, then log into the current account and you’ll be able to use that other address now that it’s freed up.
