I need to change the name of my blog address

  I misspelled “photography” in my address. Need to correct this. How, please?

  You will have to register a new blog with the correct spelling and then make the one with the wrong spelling private for use as a test blog. As you only have one post your needn’t bother with exporting and importing content from one blog to the other.

  Hey @photogal123 which page did you find that let you change the name of your wordpress blog? I’d like to do the same, but haven’t been able to figure out how.

  @mrmattcool If you want to change the title of your blog (“readerbreeder”) you can do so under Settings > General in your dashboard.

  However if you want to change your site address (currently http://readerbreeder.wordpress.com/) to something new, you can do so by going to Dashboard > My Blogs, and then go to “Change Blog address”. Careful though, once you have made such change, your readers won’t be able to access your blog at the old address!

  If you want to make sure that your old readers find your new blog address, you can purchase the Site Redirect upgrade. Thus people who want to access your own blog address will be automatically redirected to the new one.
