  Hi there,

  You will lose all the sites you own and their contents when you close your account. Within a few weeks, the data will be removed entirely from the system, and at this point, this cannot be undone.

  By following the directions on your Account Settings page (https://wordpress.com/me/account), you can permanently close your WordPress.com account.

  If you have an active WordPress.com plan or upgrade, you must cancel these purchases before your account can be closed.
