I need to contact about my site access
-
Hi there,
Here is the problem. I created a free website/blog called https://gregsmidlifecrisis.wordpress.com/
and it allowed me to upload a photo or 2 on the first page but when I attempted to change the about page I saw a message that told me I had to verify the account first. So I logged out and checked my email but couldn’t find the email, I checked spam and trash etc. When I when to log in I couldn’t then I realized that I must have made a mistake in my email when I signed up. Now I can’t login. The blog is live with generic copy but 2 of my photos but I cannot access it or contact you through regular channels because I have no authentication key or any other documents.
Can someone please contact me and help.
Thanks,
Greg -
Are you using two step authentication?
If your answer is yes then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. I set it up with just a username, my email address that I think had an error in it and a password. So I guess It’s not 2 step. The initial authentication email wasn’t sent to me. Thanks for you help.
Could modlook still help me?

There is a single email address that can be used on only one wordpress.COM username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.
The wordpress.COM blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account at any time. A confirmation email will be sent to that address.
For Issues Changing your Email Address see https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/#issues-changing-your-email-address
If you cannot locate an activation or confirmation email check your email client spam filter please and if you use Gmail or a or G Suite account see here https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/
If you do not succeed type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. Thanks for the help. I’ve read over all the links and none of them solve the problem that I have.
In the simplest terms, I have a site address that I want that has photos on it an it has been published but I have not idea how to access it to modify it. I do not have a username that works or an email to authenticate.

See here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/gregsmidlifecrisis
As your are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account you need to clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account

Not exactly sure what I’m supposed to see with you fist link. It’s my blog stats telling me that there has been no activity for 3 day. Probably because I can’t log in.
This is not s browser issues it’s an unknown username issue and an unretrievable activation email.
Are you someone who works at WordPress who can help? Do you understand my problem? It is not a user error, I cannot solve this without help from someone who works there. A do not need instructions on how to clear a browser cache.

Hi Greg,
I’ve sent an email to the address associated with the account you are logged in to now. I’ll follow up with you there for more information. Please let me know if you don’t receive it.
Thanks!
