I need to delete an old blog without password

    I am trying to delete an old blog. I do not have access to the email address, therefore no access to proof of ownership information, as I have given up the domain name. The blog has some personal information on it. I have not used the blog in several years. I don’t know who to contact or how to get the blog taken down. Who do I contact, what other possible forms of ownership can I give? I am at a loss.

    If you are referring to a site hosted here on WordPressdotcom, you would need to log in with the account that registered the site here in order to delete it. If you do not have access to that account you can try the account recovery process. https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ Make sure to click the “need more help” section to add more info.

    If you are unable to recover the relevant username account, there is really nothing further that can be done to delete the site.
