I need to delete files
-
i need to have the following files permanently removed from the internet as soon as possible.
The wyjeong.wordpress.com page was a homework for my computor class and the teacher wanted us to create a blog that can describe about our class. Somehow a few lab report that i posted online is obviously plagiarized by other students. I can even type “wonyoung jeong bch” on google and those four files come up on top. I tried to delete the blog but those four files just seem to maintain its link.I NEED YOU GUYS TO REMOVE THOSE FOUR FILES AND ITS LINKS. if i can google below four files after december/18th/2014, i will have to take further actions. I will report this case to Arizona State University and have some legal measures afterwards.
please respond as soon as possible.
the four links that need to be gone are:

http://wyjeong.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/lab2_wonyoung-david-jeong.pdf

what the hell? I thought this was an email to the tech support team. if i knew this was a publically posted forum page, i would not have posted. please delete this entire post if you (anyone in charge of this hard-to-delete website) read this.

The files are all gone from WordPress.COM there is nothing more that WordPress.COM to do to help you.
WordPress.COM has NO control over what files search engines cache and the schedule for clearing the files
You need to contact all the search engines (several hundred by the way, not just Google) and individually request them to remove the cached files from their system. Otherwise the files will eventually mostly go away in 3 to 6 months

do you know any way to remove this very post? I am having trouble with deleting this post….
-
well the first link is blocked but the other three link is wide opened to the public even after i deleted my blog page. it seems a bit strange that something i posted on the blog is still alive after i delete the blog itself though.

You can not delete the thread
Always be aware that you are posting to a public forum, and that forum topics may only be deleted if they represent a valid security or personal safety concern.

That media file has not been deleted because it’s not producing a “404 page not found”. To keep things running quickly around here, files are held in multiple caches through a separate system. These caches are usually cleared within 3 days.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content does not remove any indexed items from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

That is weird because none of the four produce a 404 for me and that is why I tagged this thread for Staff assistance.
-
Since they have three server farms and I would guess more than one cache you might have gotten a different set of servers

so i can still see three of the four reports. if the staff or wordpress.com cannot do a thing about deleting, i would at least want it to be blocked.
and can the staff or wordpress.com edit the thread at least? i want some parts of this thread to be edited if i cannot delete for privacy issue. if anybody from wordpress.com sees this, please contact me asap.

I can still access all of those files and yes Staff can remove the links as well as the files themselves. The thing is that Staff have a backlog and they chronologically so if we keep posting into this thread the timestamps move forward and it takes longer to get help. That is why it is in your best interest not to post to a thread after it is tagged for Staff like this one which was tagged by me at Dec 13, 2014, 9:41 AM.

Hi there,
It can take some time for deleted files to be completely cleared from all caches at WordPress.com. I just confirmed that all four files are now completely cleared and will return 404 errors if anyone tries to access them.
