i need to delete the old site

  please delete it for me or give me instructions. There is no Settings menu as per other instructions. It is from 2014 and it needs to be deleted completely.

  Which site exactly are you trying to delete? Bear in mind that only the account owner can delete their site so, if the site is under a different account, you’d first need to regain access to that account.

  You check out this page and fill out the Account Recovery form to regain access to the account:

  https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/.

  Then, you can follow these steps to delete the site:

  https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/.
