I need to delete the reply boxes from all of my pages

  i do NOT want ANY reply boxes on any of my pages. Have already gone through forums and followed the “steps” provided through settings then discussion, on how to edit comments and have unchecked all boxes, but the reply box is still showing up on my page. please help!

  The change affects new pages you create, not ones that existed when you made the change. You’ll have to Edit those posts and pages and, on the Edit page underneath the Write Post box, you can disable comments.

  where is the write post box? do you mean the text box? i was able to disable comments but the reply box still shows up on my page..

  I have only static pages i use as a portfolio, it is not an active blog. thanks for your help i would appreciate another response if possible

  Hey Jules,

  Did you uncheck the “Allow Comments” box for the pages you’ve already created?

  – Go to your dashboard.
  – Click “Pages” on the sidebar.
  – Mouse over the page you’d like to disable the comments for.
  – Click “Quick Edit”.
  – Uncheck the “Allow Comments” tickbox.

  Do this for each of the pages you’ve created.
