Thank you so much for responding! Bluehost cannot help me and Hosgator deleted the file after they sent on which was incomplete (no database). This WordPress site is the long ago barley with content, but will help me recoup.

Thank you for the help, but it did not work. all the pages and posts and media not there :( 2nd day with Bluehost chat and the cannot help me

That file definitely contains all the posts and pages from your WordPress.com site.
It doesn’t contain the media files, but it includes links to them. The importer on the new site will take care of moving across the media file while the import is running on the new site.
You need to upload that file under Tools ->Import in your WP-Admin dashboard on your site. You won’t be able to import that in your cPanel interface in your Bluehost account, and Bluehost support can’t help with this, no, as they don’t provide support for features of the WordPress software itself.
