I need to get my domain back what steps do I need to take?

    My domain expired 2 months ago and I am now able to renew it. What steps do I need to take in order to complete this process? All I know thus far is that I will need to upgrade my wordpress account from free to the next tier, and then I will need to…?

    Hi there,

    Are you speaking of the domain, jordanrogas.com?

    That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the recovery process started.

    You should be able to add this domain back to your account by registering it as new. Click on My Sites > Domains > Add.

    Domain registration is no longer available as a stand alone upgrade and you will need to add a plan to your account. Check out the Personal Plan at wordpress.com/pricing/
