    I would like to view some files and the code to see what is happening
    I am looking for resources to cut and paste from to use as templates
    can you lead me to the correct library of information

    What files and code exactly are you wanting to view?

    What specifically are you looking to set up that you require templates for?

    There is a wide range of WordPress.com support documentation available at the following link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/ that will walk you through the various set up procedures for a range of WordPress.com features. Just simply type a key word in for something that you interested in learning and choose from the corresponding search results.

    I would like to have a sample file to open so I have a start point
    something to copy and past to a new file to express develouper file
    something to build from that we know works

    how do I start a new file? post whatever , load a sample to edit?

    Okay, so just to break this down a little – your just starting off and you would like to know how to do the various set up procedures to get your site functioning.

    Realistically there isn’t a sample file for you to be able to pull code from to copy and paste but there is a demo version of your theme for you to view so you can see where you can get your site to and furthermore an overview link so you can read and follow links that will explain in detail how to get there.

    Because there a multiple steps to this process, perhaps it might be best to break down the items you are most wanting to accomplish and then we can work step by step through them individually.

    I see on your site at the moment you’ve already tested out your posts and comments – looking good. What other items on your site are you looking to set up (For example – Menu, Pages, Sidebar)? You mentioned a sample template to copy and paste from, do you mean for the entire website or for an individual post or page? Do you have an example of how you would like this to look – if you do perhaps we can recreate it.
