I need to get the right URL for my upgrade
-
I have tried twice to pay for an upgrade and both times the site has given me the wrong URL. I want to secure “www.thebutterflyclub.nl” and overtime it gives me the stupid wordpress.com in the URL. I need someone to help me fix this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When setting up a site with a custom domain on WordPress.com you’ll always have two URLS – one will look like this:
example.wordpress.comAnd the other will be the custom domain you choose, like thebutterflyclub.nl
We serve all your content through the free URL and then display your custom domain on top of it. No one will see the *.wordpress.com URL but you. But if you ever decide to stop using the custom domain — or transfer it to another service, all your data will still be available at the free URL.

For whatever reason, your domain registration didn’t take. Let’s try one more time.
I see you have created 4 separate sites on WordPress.com. I’m assuming those are a result of trying to get the domain name registered correctly.
I’m assuming the site you really want to use is the first one. Please let me know if that is not true.
To map your new domain to the first of the sites you created on WordPress.com, start here:
https://thebutterflyclubdotnl.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=domains&action=search_form
When asked which domain you want to use for the blog be sure to use “thebutterflyclub.nl” rather than “www.thebutterflyclub.nl.
From there you will be asked for your contact information to comply with ICANN and after that you will pay for the domain.
If you run into any more problems, or if you want to connect the domain to one of your other sites, let me know and I will adjust the instructions.

Thanks. Since I was still in the 30 day window period I just decided to cancel and refund the two $100 upgrade and domain name charges that were incurred for the 2 or 3 (can’t remember how many) times I was charged and it didn’t work. I don’t know if it’s because I’m on a mac maybe or what but this was extremely frustrating and not even being able to simply call someone to fix this when all I was trying to do was give wordpress my business was ridiculous. I’ve already established a similar domain, built the website contact to include the e-commerce, blog, etc and published it in the time that wordpress still didn’t even resolve the issue. Just not worth the effort.

I’m sorry to hear you had so much trouble. I know it’s frustrating when things like this don’t work.
If you change your mind, or decide you want to try again, please let me know and I’ll be happy to walk you through it.
