I need to have an excerpt emailed to my email subscibers when I post

  If you want posts from http://myfamilyisnotbroken.com/ to be emailed as full text, not excerpts, you need to go to http://myfamilyisnotbroken.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php and switch “For each article in a feed, show” to “Full text,” save, and leave the setting.

  When you have done that, you feed http://myfamilyisnotbroken.com/?feed=rss2 will display full posts, not excerpts as it currently is, and your emails will also send full post content.

  I am not trying to email FULL POSTS!!! I am trying to email excerpts! This way people who receive the email will have to click to read more and then it will be a “hit” on my site. Right?

  Oh, I’m sorry about that!

  Do you currently have it set to Summary, then? Your emails should be excerpts.

  yes set to summary now and still not working – please can I speak with someone who knows???
