I need to have my header banner link to an offsite landing page.

Like i said, I need to have my header banner link to an offsite landing page. For some reason im not allowed to do that by default. the whole reason for having this blog is to drive traffic towards other site. I am a paying customer and need this to be customized/fixed as default linking.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

the whole reason for having this blog is to drive traffic towards other site
That is not allowed here. See:
Spam or machine-generated content.
You know what this is, but in general, sites such as those primarily dedicated to drive traffic to third party sites, boost SEO, phish, spoof, or promote affiliate marketing aren’t cool. https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-guidelines/Also see:
However, there are limitations to the mature content permitted on our service. Please don’t:
Post links or ads to adult-oriented affiliate networks, such as pornography site signups;
Post links, text, or images promoting or advertising escort or erotic services;
https://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/And also:
Advertising.
Advertising isn’t permitted unless you use WordAds or have a WordPress.com VIP or Enterprise site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-guidelines/ -
No, you misunderstand. The blog is integral to the business and user experience as well. As you can see its high quality content, probably better than most of the blogging in Bangkok. But i need to convert. So neither of your replies are helpful. Is it possible to fix my linking?
-
I’m not misunderstanding anything. Linking your header image to an outside page is not possible, no matter what you’re blogging about or what type of upgrade you have. It can’t be done.
But that’s irrelevant as you are posting advertisements and content that is not allowed on WordPress.com and which can get your site suspended. I have provided you with the links outlining the relevant terms of service.

Content not allowed? What exactly are you referring to? Online dating? This blog is a part of the menu inside the dating site, just as any business has a blog section. But we want it to be a quality stand alone blog for non members as well. Is there anything wrong in this? I am bewildered. Is this the service i can expect?

Read the support doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/
Yes, certain content is not allowed. That is clearly stated in the Terms of Service to which you agreed when you signed up for a WordPress.com account: http://wordpress.com/tos/
I’m referring this matter to staff as I’m not going to debate the Terms of Service with you. Please be patient while waiting for their response.

.. From your link i assume you are referring to “nature content”, but there is no mature content except for two girls in bikini, amongst other photos.. Did you look at the blog properly? Its a dating site blog. Not a sex blog… “mature content on WordPress.com, including text, images and videos that contain nudity, offensive language, and mature subject material”.

Hi @prebenzm,
We do not allow the header to link away from your blog here at WordPress.com. You are welcome to add a link to the site in your header and sidebar as you have already done.
As a friendly reminder, having a site on WordPress.com which the purpose of is solely to direct traffic away to another is against our terms of service (ToS). Of course you are welcome to blog here at WordPress.com as long as directing users away from your site with us isn’t your sole purpose.
You may also consider hosting your own copy of WordPress using the software found at WordPress.org and installing it onto your own server. For more about WordPress.org (self-hosted) sites vs WordPress.com see:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/Lastly, removing the footer credits “Blog at WordPress.com. The Fanwood Light Theme. ” is also against our ToS. Please remove the following CSS from Customizer to be in compliance of our ToS:
.site-info { display: none; }Thank you for your understanding.
