I need to Know the DNS of my website
-
Hi, I have a website with you, infinitaactitud.com but I can’t acces because I changed the CNS of the domain with my domain partner, but now I can´t remember the original DNS and I can’t access to my website. If I google infinitaactitud.com I can’t acces to it. Thanks for the support.

Hi there,
infinitaactitud.com is neither registered nor hosted with us on WordPress.com. The account you’re using to post here also don’t own any sites at all hosted with us.
Please contact IONOS.com where your domain is registered for help.

Hi,
I know that, I already contacted them, because it’s hosted with them, but they told me to contact you in order to Know the DNS where I have to lead the domine in order to be shown in wordpress.
If you check the historical of infinitaactitud.com you will see that it was a wordpress site until 10 days ago aprox.
Thank you for your help

You can find the nameservers here:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/#change-your-domains-name-servers
However, you should be able to access your WordPress.com site even without the mapped domain, you’ll just need to log into the correct account. Do you remember which email address did you use to create the account where the domain was mapped? If so, you can reset your password from here:

Thanks,
I’ll check the link of the nameserers.
It is not a problem of the email, because I used this one. The site was under construction maybe that’s why it does not appear as Primary Site.
The emails of the site arrive to (email visible only to moderators and staff), the same as my WordPress accountBut I try to access through infinitaactitud.com/wp-admin, as I used to, and it’s impossible.
I’ll try the nameservers to see if it works.

Hi,
I tried to do what you say and it does not work. My domain at IONOS is adressed to your dns (ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, ns3.wordpress.com).
Still does not work.I used to have a website with you and I can’t access anymore.
I bought a theme from themeforest and I had it installed on my website with you, I have emails from wordpress during last to my email, (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I accessed to infinitaactitud.com/wp-admin to my dashboard and now I can’t anymore.
This is the account where I have been using to access to my website since I created it.I’m sure you can track the historical of the domain infinitaactitud.com and you will see that I used to have my website with you. Even if you check the historical of my account, you will see that I had the webiste and I have emails from 2019 from you when I changed the password, to ask me to finish the website, etc.
I already contacted IONOS and they told me several times that the domain is pointing to your DNS, that everything is correct from their part.
Please, I contacted you several times and I need to recover the website. It was under construction, that’s why maybe it doesn’t appear, but I had it with you and I spent money and time building it.
Thank you for your help

Okay, let’s clear a few things up, there are two versions of WordPress: WordPress.com and WordPress.org and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites whereas WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:
Now, on your WordPress.com account, there are no sites and there has never been any paid subscriptions, including a domain. If you’re sure that you have used this account, you probably had the site connected via Jetpack – but it was not hosted on WordPress.com. If you check your site’s history, it has been hosted on Siteground and on Ionos and you have just recently changed the nameservers to point it to WordPress.com: https://completedns.com/dns-history/
Just changing the nameservers will not work if there is no WordPress.com site that’s actually connected to that domain through domain mapping subscription.
A WordPress.com site would have a free subdomain, ending with.wordpress.com– can you remember the address of your site? If you have a paid subscription with us, you’d also be able to find a transaction ID for it, as explained here:
https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-idIf you do have one, you can check out this page and fill out the Account Recovery form to regain access to the correct account:
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
I’m pretty sure though, that your site is hosted elsewhere, either Sitegroud or Ionos – you will want to check your hosting plan with them and point the domain there in order for it to work correctly.
