I need to move my subscribers to a self-hosted site.

    Hello,

I’ve followed the procedures to have our subscribers moved over to our self-hosted site, and the steps have led me to this form. I’m not sure the WP community will be able to assist, as my understanding is this needs to come directly from WordPress. But I’m following the instructions, so here is my request to have our subscribers moved to our self-hosted site! Please let us know what we need to do in order to complete this process.

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please let me know the addresses of the WordPress.com site and the new self-hosted site (that needs to have Jetpack installed and connected to this WordPress.com account), and I will be happy to take care of that for you.

    Thank you Jackie
the name of the original site is http://livinglightinternational.wordpress.com/
    The new site is rawfoodchef.com/blog

The jetpack is already installed on the new site – now we just need subscribers moved over. Thank you very much…

I will be out of the office until the 14th so if there are any issues you can contact (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Appreciate your help

Your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers have been transferred as requested.

Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.

You might think about setting up a Site Redirect for your WordPress.com site at livinglightinternational.wordpress.com to send your site visitors to your new domain. Otherwise, people will still be able to subscribe on your old site.

Hi Jackie – You mentioned that our WordPress.com subscribers for livinglightinternational.wordpress.com had been transferred to our new site RawFoodChef.com/blog on November 1. However, when I went into the dashboard of our new WordPress.org site (just mentioned) it shows only 104 subscribers. We had more than 2000 subscribers on our previous site, so it does not seem as though the transfer actually went through. As I mentioned above, we already had the jetpack installed.
We will also set up a Site Redirect at our WordPress.com site.

Please advise. Thank you very much – just want to make sure our subscribers from the old site actually get transferred.

Your WordPress.com and email followers were migrated to your new site. However, Facebook and other followers, who make up the majority of the followers on your stats page, cannot be migrated via Jetpack. Instead, you will need to connect your new site to your social media sites separately, as we don’t manage those followers directly on our end.

    Hi Jackie
So, of the 2,000+ subscribers, most are via Facebook and not email subscribers? I am going to connect our social media accounts right away. Thanks

PS Jackie – can you point me in the right direction of how to set up a redirect from our .com site to our .org site. I Googled it and it did not seem quite clear. Thanks

Yes, you have over 2000 followers via Facebook and Twitter.
