I need to move my subscribers to my new .org blog

  Hi,

  Im having issues with subscriber migration from wordpress.com version of my blog to the wordpress.org.

  It is http://www.youngmoneychina.com

  I have downloaded the users in a csv from wordpress.com and uploaded them to .org but i cant see how they will get notifications of new posts etc.

  How is this done?

  I was told on the .org site that “someone a the wordpress team” would be able to do this for me if i posted here.

  Im not sure if thats correct (would be nice if it is) but i would appreciate some help or direction to a suitable plugin.

  Hi,

  The wordpress.org team have told me that posting here will allow someone from the .com team to resolve this.

  Is this not the case?

  Any help would be appreciated?

  Staff can move your subscribers for you after your install the Jetpack plugin on your WordPress.ORG install and activate it. Then they need you to post these here:
  (1) The URL of the .wordpress.com blog
  (2) The URL of the wordpress.org install

  Hi there,

  I’ll be more than happy to help out, but as @timethief said, you’ll need to completely install Jetpack and then connect to WordPress.com by clicking the button in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

  Once you’ve completed that process, let me know and I’ll start the transfer process!

  Hi,

  I have installed jet pack and activated it.

  The blog was self hosted before but was youngmoneychina.wordpress.com

  Now it’s http://www.youngmoneychina.com

  Just to confirm the jet pack plugin now has a green light saying connected to WordPress.com. This green light is giving me hope….. :)
