I need to re-register an expired domain name

To whom it may concern –
I am on day three of working with a support member to re-register my existing domain name that was originally set up through WordPress. The domain expired without notification on 4/16 and I am now not given the opportunity to renew the domain. I want to pay WordPress to re-register the domain. The message on my dashboard tells me to contact support immediately, which I did. Three days later, I’m still being led around the bush with silly excercises that do not enable the domain to be re-registered.
In short, my domain expired. I cannot re-register the domain via my dashboard. WordPress is telling me that if I want to re-register my domain, I need to contact support immediately. Is there anybody on the support team that can help with this issue? I would like to pay WordPress to re-register my domain.
