  Thanks for confirming you would like to restore the domain. Before we do that we’d like to ask one more question.

  All sites hosted on WordPress.com need an active paid plan (at least the Personal plan) in order to use a custom domain as their site’s primary domain.

  Is it your goal to create a site on WordPress.com using this domain we help you restore as the site’s primary domain? Or are you planning to use the domain elsewhere?

  To clarify you wish to restore the site https://ndisdisabilitysupport.wordpress.com *and* restore the domain fctimeout.com as well so you can use it as your address instead of the WordPress.com address?

  And you want to add the Personal plan to fctimeout.com as well? We can do that but I wanted to be sure we understand first, thanks!

  No, sorry. I don’t wish to restore the site. I would like to just keep the domain name please. I understand that I will need a WordPress plan so could I please keep the domain name under a personal plan.

  I created the site for a friend’s small business. They no longer require the site and asked me to delete it. After this they realised the implications of not keeping the domain name and would like to hold on to the domain name only for as little cost as possible until they decide where the business is heading. Could we please just keep the domain name only for as little expense as possible. Sorry for any confusion. Thank you.

  It sounds like you only wanted to keep the domain and did not need the Personal plan (which would have been needed for the site).
