I need to recover my old site URL!

  Sorry to ask so many questions! I deleted my previous site and I assumed I could always use the same URL again if I deleted the WHOLE site. Unfortunately I did not realize my new URL was legoleaksblog.wordpress.com and not legoleaks.wordpress.com. When I try to change it it tells me that the URL is already taken but the site is actually deleted :( How do I get my old URL back?

  legoleaks.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  Having clicked past all the warnings that address is now unavailable for at least two years I am afraid.

  One solution would be to upgrade to a paid plan and then you could use a custom domain name without WordPress.com on the end (provided that name isn’t already taken by someone else).
