I need to recreate a half finished site

    So the short story is that I hired a developer to create a site for me. Certain things happened in the middle of the developing and he never finished the site. I need a way to copy the half finished site so that I can finish it. Since I wasn’t the one who created the site, I don’t have access to the WordPress interface for that site. Through the company that I use to host my current site, I can see the half finished sites files though. So, essentially I want to clone the half finished site so that I can finish it on my own WordPress account. Is there a way for me to do this using the WordPress files?

    Your site is probably a WordPress.org site and it is not hosted on WordPress.com.
    At WordPress.com, we don’t get access to the WordPress files.

    We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.

    To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.
