    You’ll need to upgrade to a WordPress.com plan to remove the banner. Your visitors see a slightly different message there, which you can see by viewing your site after logging out of your WordPress.com account.

    You can upgrade to the WordPress.com Starter plan, which also lets you use your own domain, remove ads, and add additional storage space for media files.
