i need to request a url

    Hello! I have a book named ‘Fazendo Acontecer’ and I want to change my URL from what it is now to fazendoacontecer.wordpress.com But this URL is already taken for someone who NEVER posted ANYTHING, and this blog was created in 2006. What means, it’s more than 10 years without beeing used! There is any chance wordpress have this url back so I can use it??? Thank you!

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com can’t take back domains that have been taken by users.
    What you can do to look for contact information on the site and try to get in touch with the owner of the website.
    You can also try to leave a comment on a post or on a page to get the owner’s attention.
    The last resort would be to go for a name which is really really similar to the one you’d like to have.
