I need to reregister a domain name I just cancelled.

  I cancelled a domain name on wordpress.com because I want to restart it with wordpress.org. But now cannot register the same domain. How do I get it back so I can build the website on wordpress.org?

  Hi there,

  Since your domain had only just been purchased, it is already in the process of being returned to the domain registry. This process will take a couple of days, but once it is done, you will be able to re-register the domain with whichever domain registrar company you prefer!
