  Why can’t you just call someone in WP to answer a question?

  WordPress.com staff are situated all over the planet so there is no telephone support but with a paid plan you can reach out via email or Livechat. With a free site, or even no site at all, this is the place to ask your questions as long as your site is indeed hosted here at WordPress.com. If a volunteer can’t help you here then a member of staff will.
