I need to swing my web.com site over to my wordpress domain but don't want to lose all the work

I have a blog with you. I have a website with web.com. I want to move my site over to you. I want to transfer all my work from the old site to the new one without re-writing manually. I intend upgrading the website to business level once it is under your control so I can improve the presentation and management of the site, and I want to do that as soon as possible. I want the website to be primary and the blog to be secondary. I have no experience or skill to do this, and I don’t want to make a mistake. Can you help me please?

    Hey there,

In order to transfer your site from one platform to WordPress.com, you’ll need to export your old content from web.com and import it into your WordPress.com site.

Here is information about importing into WordPress.com:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

On this document, you’ll see the types of platform transfers we support. While web.com isn’t on the list, you may be able to contact your support team there and ask if you can download an XML file of your site. You can then import your XML files here.

I want the website to be primary and the blog to be secondary. I have no experience or skill to do this, and I don’t want to make a mistake. Can you help me please?

Once your site is hosted here at WordPress.com, we can help with this. Here’s a quick-start guide to launching a website (that contains a blog) with us:

Please let me know how things work out with your export from web.com. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.
