  I just tried the email subscription link on your site, and it worked ok for me.

  Do you know if the person in question has a WordPress.com account or not? What happens when they try to subscribe?

  Three people have clicked on the follow me link, filled in their email and submitted. They never received the follow-up email. They have checked their spam folder. When they tried to sign up again, they are told they have a subscription pending, and that the confirmation email will be resent. They have not received this email either. And they do not show up on my list of email followers.
