  Hi Leo,

  We sometimes display advertisements on WordPress.com sites, in order to keep free features free. We try to make the ads discreet and to only run them in limited places.

  To eliminate ads on your blog entirely, you can purchase the No Ads upgrade by going to Store in your Dashboard.
