I need to temporarily take down this site without deleting the contents

  Hi, I’m just wondering if there is anyway I can temporarily take down this blog. I have serious security issues right now and I have a stalker. I need to take down all things that can get him access to info about me, my pictures, etc.

  I really like this blog and I have spent time working on it so I don’t want to delete it. I’m hoping I can become invisible for a while till he hopefully lose interest. Please help me, I can’t have my pictures online right now. If you have other suggestions, please let me know.

  You can mark your blog as private.
  See this http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
  No one will be able to access your blog except you.
  Note: A deleted blog is gone forever, so don’t ever delete a blog.

  PS – even if you set your blog to Private search engines will still have cached versions of your site so someone can still search and see cached versions – it can take several months for search engines to clear the cache so there will be a time where the info is still visible – and as noted above – deleting your blog will not solve this – so just set it to Private –
