    I need to transfer the free domain from one site to another but it states when I delete to old site the domain name won’t be available?

    PLEASE do not delete either site. That will just cause you headaches! Let us point you in the right direction.

    Will the WordPress domain name of the site I plan to delete be available for another site I am building? or will it require 60 days

    If you want to move content from one site here to another that is easy to do with export/import. If you want to move a site here to a different account here that is possible also.

    If you’re talking about moving a free site here with a subdomain address ending in .wordpress.com to another provider then no that cannot be transferred away from here. You can of course export any content you have created on the free site here and import it into a (paid) site at some other host.

    As stated earlier don’t delete anything as deleting things is final and doesn’t free things up to be used again.
