I need urgent help

Dear team members, I have a problem about wordpress process.
I used to use an older version two years ago. When I write a post it was being published in both the main page and under whichever category I choose from the categories I prepared and shown as Menu on the top of the page. However, I changed many themes but can not do this. I need urgent help to sort this problem as soon as possible.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, if you want your posts displayed on the front page, you’ll need to choose “Your latest posts” in your Customizer‘s Static Front Page panel:
At the moment, you’ve set your posts to be displayed on this blog page:

Hello, it is me again:) I have a new question. I want to show the posts like a newspaper website format for example at the top of the page there will be a wide part showing posts one by one, and there is a little numbering bar underneath the picture starting from 1 to 15. You can see the page of http://www.hurriyet.com.tr
Is there any chance of doing this in WordPress themes?
Another question; I have a gif animeted logo. Looks like a film strip . Can I activate it?
