I needed to upload my own template, need a refund if I can't

    I bought the .com thinking that was what would allow me to use a custom WordPress template I had previously purchased.

    I have now read that .com allows only the not-so-customizable templates and I don;t want to use someone elses fonts etc…

    Please issue a refund and cancel my leelynchdesign.com domain registration. I have no use for the partially customizable templates and apparently need a .org on instead to upload this.

    Not only that but how did this get to “leelynchdesigndotcom.wordpress.com…

    If we cancel your newly-registered domain, it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.

    If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can point the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

    However, if you don’t want this domain at all and don’t need to use it anywhere else, you can cancel it for a full refund if you purchased it within the last two days. To cancel the domain, go to Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard. Locate the domain you want to cancel in the list, and click on the Cancel and Refund link near to it.

    This cannot be undone, so please follow the on-screen instructions carefully before you confirm the cancellation.

    Yeah, but I didn’t get this message in time for two days. I still need to arrange for a refund, please. It’s only been three days, so this should not be a problem. Otherwise I’m just going to be out of $18 and have a useless service sitting there.
    Who should I contact to arrange the refund?

    I’ve cancelled this domain for you and issued an $18 refund. It can take 1-2 weeks for a refund to be reflected on your account.

    That;s very kind, and I appreciate your understanding int his. I will read more carefully before purchasing each upgrade, and will be looking for more thing to add in the future! I understand your policies and it was lenient of you to help in this.
