I never received confirmation after moving a blog

  I never received a confirmation email after moving a blog to a new user. I followed the instructions found here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

  …but to no avail.

  I should also mention that its not clear whether something will eventually happen or not. I submitted the request to move the blog twice but have not gotten any response.
